Registration To participate, on-line registration is mandatory, via a two step process for both payment and actual registration.1) You need to register to our payment agency through the link before registering to ACTRIS online. Registration fees will include coffee breaks, lunches and will cover:

  • Sessions 100€ for 31st Jan – 2nd Feb (Tue/Wed/Thur) and 75€ for 1st-2nd Feb (Wed/Thur) (Mandatory)
  • Social dinner 42€ (Optional)
  • Accommodation (Optional)

The agenda of the 3rd General meeting includes:

  1. Mid-term Review Meeting (MTR agenda is available for download here)Participation of project partners in the MTR is mandatory (but should be limited to one representative per partner and per linked third party where possible, unless otherwise agreed). Note that associated partners are not expected to participate.
  2. General Assembly meeting (short, 9-10h, GA agenda is available for download here)Participation of at least one representative per project partner is mandatory (note that attendance is limited to project partners and linked third parties). If you can not attend, please nominate a proxy who will vote on your behalf (confirmation of name by email is sufficient).

Presentation guidelines Information for presentations at the scientice meeting:

  • Oral presentations: all presentations are limited to 15min (+5 min time for discussion).
  • Posters: A0 size, vertical orientation (adhesive tape will be provided).

The posters should be put in place on Wednesday before the afternoon session (before 10h). Posters will be displayed throughout the science meeting.

Travel info How to get to Granada(extracted from: http://www.granadainfo.com/granadatravel.htm)Flying to Granada Airport (GRX)

  • If you want to fly to GRX, catch an international flight to Barcelona or Madrid, continue via domestic flight to Granada. Alternatively, the airports used by IBERIA and VUELING also directly connect with Granada airport. Some airlines may operate direct flights (e.g., British Airways from London City airport, or Easyjet).
  • Granada airport is 25 km outside the city centre. From the airport you can get to the centre by:
    • Granada airport bus (ALSA): the Granada airport but leaves ca. 30 minutes after flight arrival times, duration 45 min (ca. 3€). Click here for more information. Tickets can be bought online via ALSA: https://www.alsa.es/en.
    • Taxi : ca. 25-30€ (settle the price beforehand).

Flying to Malaga Airport (AGP)

  • Malaga is the closest international airport to Granada with a large number of available flights.
  • Getting from Malaga airport to Granada (125 km):
    • There are direct buses from Malaga airport to the Granada bus station. The journey takes 2.5 hrs and costs 12-15€. From Granada bus station, take a taxi or a bus to the centre.  Tickets can be bought online via ALSA: https://www.alsa.es/en.
    • Hire a car to get to Granada. Most companies have pick-up and drop-off points both at Granada airport and in the centre of Granada. Click here for a list of hire car companies.
    • Taxi :  ca. 140 € (settle the price beforehand).
    • (avoid trains, they are much slower than buses)

Getting to Granada by bus

  • A number of buses are operated each day from and to other large Spanish cities. Tickets can be bought online via ALSA: https://www.alsa.es/en.
  • From Madrid, various bus services leave every hour from “Estación del Sur”. The nearest tube station to « Estación del Sur » is Méndez Álvaro. The buses leave every hour (sometimes more frequent). Either buy tickets in advance (via ALSA or the machine), otherwise, just  go to the bus station and get on the next available bus. There are various services:
    • normal – duration: 5hrs, 17.50€ (1:30, 6:00, 7:00, 8:00, 10:30, 11:30, 14:00, 15:00, 16:30, 17:30, 18:30, 20:30)
    • supra economy – duration 4.5 hrs, 26.80€ (1:00, 7:00)
    • supra+ – duration: 4.5 hrs, 35.90€: (13:30, 19:30)
  • Avoid trains, they are much slower than buses!
